The Sunflower Field At Colby Farm (Newbury, Massachusetts)
Returning to Colby Farm to see the majestic sunflower field (August 2018)
During the last week of August, I visited Colby Farm for the second time. My first visit was last year when I was in the area for one of my best friend’s wedding. I kept seeing photos of the Newbury, Massachusetts-based farm’s majestic sunflower field on Instagram so I decided to check it out see what the big deal was.
I really enjoyed the visit and loved how beautiful the flowers were in-person so I figured it was worth returning. This time around, I visited on a weekday, which meant I didn’t have to deal with the busy weekend crowd. I was able to walk around freely and snap some photos without any problems. The sunflowers were in peak boom so they were bright and bold, making them quite photogenic.
The sunflower field has been closed since the beginning of September so you’ll have to wait until next year to check them out. In the meantime, enjoy the photos below and feel free to read more about Colby Farm in my post from last year.
